Dr. Lance Greer is an audiologist and owner of Advanced Hearing & Balance Specialists, where he has dedicated nearly 30 years to helping people reconnect with the sounds and moments that matter most. As the first Doctor of Audiology to practice in Southern Utah and Southern Nevada, he has been committed to bringing advanced hearing and balance care to the communities he serves.

Dr. Greer earned his Master of Science degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. He provides comprehensive hearing healthcare, including diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, balance assessments, industrial hearing conservation services, and VA Compensation & Pension examinations for veterans.

Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Greer combines advanced diagnostic expertise with a commitment to helping each patient find practical, personalized solutions. Whether treating hearing loss, evaluating dizziness and balance disorders, or counseling patients through their hearing journey, his goal is to improve quality of life through better hearing and balance.

Dr. Greer also served as the Newborn Infant Hearing Screening Director at St. George Regional Medical Center for 27 years, from 1998 to 2025, helping establish and oversee a program that provided early hearing screening and intervention for thousands of newborns throughout the region.

Dr. Greer and his wife, Shannon, have raised five children and have deep roots in the Southern Utah community. They enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and making lasting memories with family. In his free time, Dr. Greer enjoys woodworking and tackling creative projects in his workshop. He also values opportunities to give back through community service and considers it a privilege to care for the hearing health of generations of families throughout Southern Utah and Southern Nevada.
